Red Wings forward goes end-to-end on video game-style goal

Riley Sheahan probably played NHL 96 growing up.

Real life isn't a video game, or is it? Detroit forward Riley Sheahan made a compelling case for the latter after pulling a move you yourself probably execute in a certain popular NHL video game.

Not only does Sheahan go coast to coast on the play, which doubled the Red Wings' lead to 2-0 over the Sabres, he does it by evading four of the five Buffalo defenders on the ice. Within a span of 10 or so seconds, Sheahan spins away from a defender at his red line and speeds through the remaining Sabres defense before launching a top shelf rocket for the tally.

If that's not proof that video games exist in real life, I don't know what is.
