Ondrej Palat dekes around a Hurricanes defender and snipes a sweet goal

That's one way to find your scoring touch.

Ondrej Palat figured out how to break out of his slump in a brilliant way.

The Tampa Bay Lightning forward only had two goals in his previous 13 games coming into his team's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday. It's been a frustrating and injury-plagued season for Palat.

So Lightning fans had to be overjoyed when he took Hurricanes defenseman Ron Hainsey one-on-one and beat both him and the goalie for a sick goal to open the scoring in the first period.

That was Palat's ninth goal of the year, and he would make it 10 with another goal in the second period. He's up to 23 points this season after registering 16 goals and 63 points a year ago.
