Lost amidst Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang's terrific performance in a Game 3 win was his violent swing at an opponent's neck.
Lost, because it went uncalled. Letang was ridden hard into the glass by a forechecking Rangers forward, but he was able to get rid of the puck to a teammate before Rangers winger Viktor Stalberg came in for a check. Instead of letting up, Letang then appeared to swing his stick directly at Stalberg's neck:
Wow- absolutely disgusting play from Letang chopping Stalberg in the neck. And no call. pic.twitter.com/DDXHqwoiHb

Stalberg was unhurt, as he continued playing. It was confirmed on Wednesday that Letang would not face supplemental discipline for the play. The Penguins went on to win the game and take a 2-1 series lead.
