Blues vs. Blackhawks, 2016 NHL playoffs: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Blackhawks will try to save their season one more time in Game 6, down 3-2 to the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs. Puck drop is at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Scouting the Blues

Putting aside the overtime goal against, Ken Hitchcock has to be enthused about how his team closed out Game 5. Down by two goals in the third period, the Blues rallied to tie the game and would've won it in overtime had Corey Crawford not ingested Felix Felicis before the game. Usually winning in United Center is a heck of a task, but the Blues won Games 3 and 4 there so they should come in with confidence.

Scouting the Blackhawks

As long as Corey Crawford plays like he did in Game 5 (with 43 saves) then Chicago has a chance to push the series to seven games. And now that Patrick Kane is finally on the board with his first goal (what was up with that?) maybe he'll find enough of his regular season groove to propel the Blackhawks. But the odds are stacked against Chicago.
