Alexandre Burrows paid the price for messing with an opposing goalie on Sunday.
Midway through the first period, the Vancouver Canucks winger had set up shop in his usual area: around the opposing goalie’s crease. Only this time he was messing around inside of it, and the goalie hanging there happened to be the Sabres’ 6’5 behemoth netminder Robin Lehner.
It didn’t go well for Burrows.
And then it got worse.
JUSTIN FALK FROM THE TOP ROPE.
Both players sat in the sin bin, but something tells us Lehner could’ve managed that fight just fine on his own.
