The NHL was always going to be adding a new uniform set to the list in 2017-18 with the inclusion of the Vegas Golden Knights. On Thursday, however, Sportslogos.net reported that 12 other NHL teams besides the Golden Knights will sport a new look next season.

Back in January, it was announced that the NHL would be handing over the keys for uniform production to Adidas. Reebok, a subsidiary of Adidas, was the previous handler of the NHL’s uniforms since 2007-08. Adidas also did the World Cup of Hockey jerseys for the NHL back in September.

Along with the move, Adidas will be scrapping alternate jerseys at least for the upcoming season.

In the Sportslogos.net report, the 12 teams getting upgrades are as follows:

The changes are likely just going to be very minor. Some teams very well could be going the route of the Oilers and scrapping their previous home jersey for their alternate.

According to Sportslogos.net, the uniform changes will be announced before the 2017 NHL draft on June 23.
