The Capitals’ victory parade started on Tuesday morning in Washington D.C. as fans rolled out into the streets to celebrate the first Stanley Cup in the team’s 44-year history.
Fans showed up early ... really early.

But 3 a.m. was not the winner, not by a long shot. This fan started the party before MIDNIGHT to ensure she had a prime spot.
The first fan arrived in front of the stage last night at 11:30 pm. She is a life-long fan from North Carolina who spent the night on the fenceline to get a prize spot for the #ALLCAPS Parade and to get a glimpse of the #StanleyCup #superfan #dedication pic.twitter.com/9DYtrzG6jK

This Capitals’ fan made a Stanley Cup out of beer cans. You got to commend his effort.

D.C. was flooded in red. Pretty sure a lot of people called out sick from work.

Ovechkin, arguably, had the best speech at the rally.
