Here are the best moments from the parade in Washington.

The Capitals’ victory parade started on Tuesday morning in Washington D.C. as fans rolled out into the streets to celebrate the first Stanley Cup in the team’s 44-year history.

Fans showed up early ... really early.

But 3 a.m. was not the winner, not by a long shot. This fan started the party before MIDNIGHT to ensure she had a prime spot.

There were bagpipes, for some reason.

Zambonis were on the loose in D.C.

This Capitals’ fan made a Stanley Cup out of beer cans. You got to commend his effort.

Alex Ovechkin and the Stanley Cup arrived.

And the buses rolled onto the parade route!

Jakub Vrana was on another level.

D.C. was flooded in red. Pretty sure a lot of people called out sick from work.

T.J. Oshie, the legend

Chug! Chug! Chug!

Ovechkin, arguably, had the best speech at the rally.

And, of course, the Capitals sang “We are the Champions” with their fans.
