While Cameroon is in the same group as Brazil and have the worst odds to win the group, they are a physical squad that have a chance facing Mexico and Croatia, who struggled in qualifying.
Samuel Eto'o is the biggest offensive threat on the squad and needs to play like he did at Inter Milan a few years back for the African nation to advance to the round of 16.

World Cup 2014
While Eto'o is a solid striker the defense may be the strength of the squad, which will be key facing Mexico, Brazil, and Croatia in group play. After qualifying for the World Cup Cameroon has looked less than impressive in their last three friendlies losing to Tanzania, playing to a draw against Ukraine, and getting crushed 5-1 facing Portugal.
World Cup Prediction for Cameroon
While Cameroon has looked less than impressive in their World Cup tune-ups they have a chance in group play. However, Brazil, who they are very overmatched against, will crush them.
Their first two matches are against Mexico and Croatia and while they have a legit shot to take points away from both of those matches, which they may, they will still not gain enough to advance to the knockout phase.
How Cameroon got to the World Cup
Cameroon did not have the easiest time qualifying for this summer needing a win over Tunisia in the CAF playoffs. Their offense did not look good in the qualifying process and in six matches they only had eight goals.
However, in their big match at home facing Tunisia after the 0-0 draw away they came up big winning 4-0, which punched their ticket to Brazil. Overall, in qualifying Cameroon had seven wins, one loss, and two draws.

Team Key Players
Samuel Eto'o - FW Chelsea - The veteran striker is the main scoring chance his team has and has to pressure the opposing defense in group play.
Alex Song - MF Barcelona - Maybe the best player the squad has and the attacking MF has to help Eto'o out on the offensive side of the pitch as well as play solid defense.
Joel Matip - DF Schalke 04 - Mato is a young up-and-coming star who leads the solid defense that will be pressured in group play, especially facing the dangerous attacks of Mexico and Brazil.
