Kansas City Chiefs

With a 5-0 SU and ATS start to the 2017 season, the Chiefs looked like they might be the team to beat this year. That run of perfection ended with two losses in five days as Kansas City fell 19-13 to the Pittsburgh Steelers at home and then 31-30 on the road against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday night.

The Chiefs will try to shore up a defense that has given up over 30 points twice in its last three game against a Denver offense that only averages 18 points per game.

The Chiefs are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three games against the Broncos per the OddsShark NFL Database. Before those three games they were 0-7 SU and 2-5 ATS in their previous seven games against Denver.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos have the best total defense in the NFL allowing 258.5 yards per game and the second best rushing defense in the league allowing 71.8 rushing yards per game.

Unfortunately for Denver, this defense has been going to waste in recent weeks due to the team's anemic offense. Denver is 1-3 SU and ATS over its last four games and is averaging a paltry 10.5 points per game over that stretch. Trevor Siemian has only two touchdown passes and five interceptions over his last four games.

Monday night's total is set at 43 points. The OVER is 9-2 in Kansas City's last 11 night games.

Denver is 2-7-1 ATS in its last 10 games played on Monday night. To turn around those Monday Night Football woes, the Broncos will need to muster up some offense against a Kansas City team that ranks second in the NFL in both total offense and scoring offense this season.
