The Los Angeles Rams are 6-18 straight up and 10-14 against the spread in their last 24 games against the Seahawks. The Rams have won three of the last four games in this head-to-head series, however, and are hoping to pick up another win over their division rivals on Sunday.
Los Angeles is a 2.5-point home favorite over Seattle at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This marks the first time that the Rams have been a betting favorite against Seattle since back in 2011, when they lost 24-7 as a 3-point home favorite.
The Rams have been one of the biggest early surprises of the 2017 season with a 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS start to the year, and a win over Seattle would give Los Angeles an early commanding lead in the NFC West.
NFL Week 5 Odds
New England (-6) at Tampa Bay
Baltimore at Oakland (-4)
Minnesota (-3) at Chicago
Seattle at LA Rams (-2.5)
Green Bay at Dallas (-2)
Kansas City (-1.5) at Houston
Oakland quarterback Derek Carr left last Sunday's game with a back injury and is expected to miss two-to-six weeks of action. The Oakland Raiders opened as a 4-point home favorite against the Baltimore Ravens, but that line could move during the week due to Carr's absence. Baltimore has won 10 of its last 13 games against the Raiders, per the OddsShark NFL Database.
In a rematch of last year's NFC Divisional Round matchup, the Green Bay Packers are a 2-point underdog visiting the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas didn't pick up its second loss of the season until Week 14 last year, but last week's 35-30 home loss to the Rams dropped the Cowboys to 2-2 SU and ATS in 2017. Green Bay is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 games coming off a win.
All three of this week's prime-time games opened with the road team as the betting favorite. New England visits Tampa Bay as a 6-point favorite on Thursday night, Kansas City opened as a slight 1.5-point favorite at Houston on Sunday night, and Minnesota opened as a 3-point favorite in Chicago against the Bears for Monday.
The Patriots are 38-5 SU in their last 43 games coming off a loss as a betting favorite. New England suffered another shocking loss last Sunday at home to the Carolina Panthers, falling 33-30 as 9-point favorites.
