Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys opened their season with a fantastic 19-3 win at home over the New York Giants, setting the tempo on offense and dominating the game on defense. But on the road against Denver last week, the Cowboys got dominated in every facet of the game in a 42-17 loss. Dak Prescott was out-dueled by Trevor Siemian, Ezekiel Elliot was held to a career-low eight rushing yards, and the defense was crushed for 42 points.

Dallas will try to write that game off as a fluke and put it behind them quickly with a strong performance Monday night.

Over the last 12 seasons, Dallas is 11-1 SU in games played in Week 3. The Cowboys are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four Week 3 games.

Arizona Cardinals

Arizona avoided a disastrous 0-2 SU start with a come from behind win last Sunday in Indianapolis, erasing a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to win 16-13 in overtime.

The Cardinals offense received a devastating blow in Week 1 when the team lost star running back David Johnson to a broken wrist, likely for the season. Carson Palmer passed for 332 yards last week and will continue to be asked to pick up the slack in Johnson's absence.

The Cardinals are 13-5 SU and 14-3-1 ATS in their last 18 games as an underdog of three points or less.

Monday night's total is set at 46.5 points. The OVER is 8-1 in Arizona's last nine games per the OddsShark NFL Database.

With both teams hoping to avoid an early 1-2 SU hole to start the season, this should be a hard fought game on both sides. Arizona is a home underdog for the first time since 2014, and is 10-4 SU and ATS in its last 14 instances as one.
