The Philadelphia Eagles are just 3-6 straight up and against the spread in their last nine games as a preseason underdog. The Eagles will find themselves in the underdog role Thursday night when they visit their Super Bowl LII foes the New England Patriots.

Philadelphia is a 3.5-point road underdog in New England at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This spread is fairly reminiscent of the Super Bowl when the Eagles won 41-33 as a 4.5-point underdog. The Patriots are 9-2 SU and 7-4 ATS in 11 preseason meetings with the Eagles since 1996.

In another marquee matchup on Thursday night between two Super Bowl favorites, the Green Bay Packers are 5.5-point favorites on the NFL Preseason Week 2 odds hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. Green Bay is a perfect 6-0 SU and ATS over its last six preseason home games and hasn’t lost or failed to cover as a preseason home favorite since 2013.

Rounding out Thursday night’s schedule is the New York Jets at Washington (-1.5). Sam Darnold was impressive in his preseason debut completing 13 of 18 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in New York’s 17-0 win over Atlanta last weekend.

Two more top quarterback prospects will be on display on Friday night when the Buffalo Bills visit the Cleveland Browns (-3) as first overall pick Baker Mayfield clashes with seventh overall pick Josh Allen. Buffalo is 0-5 SU and ATS over its last five preseason road games. This is one of five games on the preseason schedule Friday night.

Saturday’s card has seven games on it including an intriguing matchup of San Francisco at Houston (-2.5). This should be another exciting quarterback dual while the starters are in as Jimmy Garoppolo and Deshaun Watson get some playing time. The Texans have been a strong home play in the preseason in recent years boasting a 10-3 SU and ATS record in their last 13 games at NRG Stadium.

Week 2 wraps up on Monday night when the Baltimore Ravens visit the Indianapolis Colts (-1). With wins in their first two games of the 2018 preseason, the Ravens are now 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS over their last 10 preseason games.
