The Texans fly to north Florida Sunday to take on the fightin' bass boats of Jacksonville, otherwise known as the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Texans opened as nine point underdogs and that line has not moved significantly since then. With the injury list piling up, now including Derek Stingley, a nine point spread sounds not just realistic but possibly downright generous of DraftKings.

Ordinarily, with larger point spreads like we have here, I would say take the Texans with the points because NFL games generally tend to be relatively close and a nine point deficit is not the easiest thing in the world to overcome. But with the likelihood of Stingley missing at least four weeks, that line is going to get worse so I would say take the Jags to cover.

And as always, never take the Texans with the money line. Only madness and sorrow lie therein.
