Tom Brady said that he did not alter footballs in the AFC Championship. No one believed him. Then he told us it wasn't that bad, at least relative to other unrelated way worse things?
But mostly, it was about balls and balls jokes.
Just another day in the sports corner of Twitter dot com.

deflated balls
He didn’t deflate the balls….someone else did. The NFL should have a rematch and from now on, the officials should supply the balls.
By cri33 on 01.22.15 6:46pm
Sure he did.
By davidelaine17 on 01.22.15 6:57pm
rematch would be a bigger blowout
By thundercunt on 01.22.15 7:12pm
he went 9 for 9 after the switch
Brady’s performance was fantastic in the second half after the footballs were switched including a string of 9 for 9 completions. 2 TD passes in the 2nd half. Erase the Pats first half if you want. They still destroyed the colts. It was a route. 2 pounds of pressure couldn’t have saved Indy. Plus, the Colts use their own ball on offense. All teams play with their own ball. It didn’t help. They can’t handle NE and its not even close.
By odysea_1 on 01.23.15 11:56am
This is not news. Gisele deflated Tom’s balls years ago.
By Joehell on 01.22.15 6:48pm
That’s some funny chit tight there.
By Rob Ss on 01.22.15 7:12pm
According to the official "story, the "deflated" balls were replaced with properly "inflated balls at half time. The Patriots scored 17 points in the first half and, 28 points in the second half. The Colts scored 7 points in the first half and, 0 points in the second half. Damn! If the Patriots wouldn’t have cheated, they would have won 56-0!
By chipdavis93 on 01.22.15 6:59pm
So why do they need to cheat?
By hohman on 01.22.15 7:20pm
..
By New Century Silver on 01.23.15 9:40pm
The point is that the Pats have been pulling crap like this for a long time
They got caught. Again.
Their fans will defend them. Again.
The league will do nothing about it. Again.
Roger Goodell is the crux of the problem here. There should be ZERO fraternization between the commissioner and the owners.

if they didn’t cheat thats the problem u think cheating is ok if the outcome is pre decided

56 - 7
Damn, Pats even cheat on an imaginary re-match. But to create this huge mismatch what method of cheating will Bilicheat use?

PETE ROSE/TOM BRADY DOUBLE STANDARD?
I don’t get this. Pete Rose is caught betting on ONE BASEBALL game and he’s banned ‘for life,’ from baseball. What Tom did and has done is CHEATING. ZERO TOLERANCE. He should be A. Banned from Football for life. B. His team disqualified from the Super Bowl. C. The Colts are in the Super Bowl by Default, and there be no further discussion. CHEATING IN THE NFL SHOULD BE A ZERO TOLERANCE OFFENSE. Why is everyone talking about this? The evidence is clear. The Patriots with Tom Brady deflated footballs, allowing Brady to have crisper, sharper passes, giving the Pats the WIN BY CHEATING. IF Goodell doesn’t do the RIGHT THING, he should be FIRED ALSO. I’m mad as HELL and I’m not going to take it anymore. CHEATING IS CHEATING, GAME OVER. PATS LOSE, BRADY IS BANNED. Colts in SUPER BOWL. Also, I am not a COLTS FAN, I’m just being fair here in what the evidence is that is presented that 11 FOOTBALLS were under inflated according the NFL RULES AND BYLAWS. TOM BRADY YOU ARE OUT! IF not, reinstate Charlie Hustle Pete Rose NOW, and forget this stupid DOUBLE STANDARD. OMG, How is it that people all this B*LLSH*T to go on and during Championship WEEK? Do the right thing. Ban Brady, Disqualify the Pats, Reinstate the Colts as Default winners in the AFC Championship and PUT THEM IN THE SUPER BOWL. I’m done. I’m angry and I wish to see something done about CHEATING IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS which is illegal, and should be followed through as such.

ok psycho. take it easy. you must have an crush on pete rose. you must also not have a life. getting made over the air in a football. lol. what a loser
By al_bernardjr on 01.22.15 7:10pm
Cincinnati fan
We all feel sorry for Pete but many more than 1 game involved. What Pete did was illegal. What the Patriots did or did not do with any other team would not get 5 minutes attention.
By Sofia1 on 01.22.15 7:20pm
What Pete did was illegal?
Since when was sports gambling illegal? Pete Rose didn’t do anything illegal. He simply broke a rule in baseball. He never affected the outcome of a game.
By chrismireya on 01.22.15 8:35pm
Petey
When you use an illegal bookie , sunshine. Only a total dipshit would think an admitted liar never bet against his team when he could win money.
Oh by the way, that simple rule is the integrity of the game, but you have your head up Pete’s ass too much to know that
By masher1965 on 01.22.15 9:02pm
"Oh by the way, that simple rule is the integrity of the game,"
Yeah, tell that to brady and Belicheat.
By "OldManRaider"52 on 01.23.15 8:29am
Are you kidding?
first off how exactly do you know he didn’t affect an outcome of a game? even if he didn’t be against his team (which is rumored that he did) how do you know if he didn’t leave a pitcher in longer than he should have? or put a reliever in a game when they needed rest? next, if you don’t live in vegas wagering on sports is pretty much illegal in the u.s. he was dealing with bookies and from what i remember they were not the best people in the world. i think he should get into the hall but he flat out denied it for so long i think the powers that be are going to punish him for a while.
By chickendinner11 on 01.22.15 9:03pm
You gotta be a Pats fan. He is just expressing his opinion, and you are calling him names and putting him down. You are the loser.
By ruger_45_acp on 01.22.15 7:50pm
Rose/Brady
Good come back. Guys like that are the reason why I prefer to watch games alone. Can’t deal with cry baby sports fans, people who know nothing about the sport they’re discussing, and ignorance. Just saying…
By grapling000 on 01.22.15 7:55pm
It's not about the air in the football
I’m so sick of this whole thing. This is about an infraction of the rules — normally a $25,000 fine. The issue hete is someone deflated the balls and the Patriots are stonewalling about a minor offense. Lying to the Commissioner gets you suspended for a year if you are a New Orleans Saint coach. If the League can’t get a straight answer out of Belichick or Brady, they should also be suspended for a year. Patriots have a history if cheating and coverups. It’s time they paid for it. However, the Commissioner’s close relationship with Bob Kraft may get them a slap on the wrist. If so, I ecpect the cheating to contine, just as it has since Spygate.

No, what it is you saying guilty without proven it. Ever hear innocent until proven guilty??
