MLS Mock Expansion Draft: Timbers Select Scott Sealy; Whitecaps Take Amadou Sanyang

11. Timbers: Scott Sealy, F, San Jose Earthquakes

Chopping Timber: Scott has been a bit of an enigma with San Jose. He's played in 15 games, with five starts but didn't have a single goal to his name and only one assist. Despite that, however, You can't argue his experience both nationally and internationally (with Tel Aviv) and during his heyday in 2006 he scored a respectable 10 goals for Kansas City.

12. Whitecaps: Amadou Sanyang, DF/MF, Toronto FC

86 Forever: Sanyang is a quick, nimble, and fairly tall player. He's gotten in twenty first team games with Toronto despite a couple injuries. He plays both defense and midfield, can play outside or centrally, and is a solid, reliable player. He's remarkably inexpensive. And he's 19 years old. He could be a useful bench player for Vancouver right now, and in a few years could be a lot more than that.

New protected players: Brad Ring (San Jose), Martin Saric (TFC).
