UEFA Champions League Final 2011: Dimitar Berbatov Not In Manchester United Squad

Well, we've found the shock in Sir Alex Ferguson's team selection - word from Wembley is that Premier League leading scorer Dimitar Berbatov hasn't even made the bench for Manchester United today for their UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona. It's not as shocking as we were initially led to believe, but it's still a bit of a surprise, and it's slightly sad to see given the obvious talent Berbatov possesses.

Rumour doing the rounds that Berbatov isn't even on bench for #MUFC. @lee_clayton_ appears to confirm itless than a minute ago via TweetDeck Favorite Retweet Reply

Surely Berbatov's a better bet than Michael Owen or whoever else has taken his place? Could he be secretly injured? The Bulgarian randomly finding himself in Sir Alex Ferguson's doghouse to the extent that he isn't even in the squad would be pretty weird.
