Pedro Rodriguez had a glorious chance in the early going of the UEFA Champions League final that he wasted, but he didn't waste his second chance. Lionel Messi's run to the center took Patrice Evra with him and opened up acres of space on the right for Pedro to run into. Of course, in acres of space and with Xavi Hernandez on the ball, Pedro was going to get his chance and he did. Xavi put the ball right where it had to be with a perfect pass and Pedro finished to put Barcelona ahead 1-0 on Manchester United in the 27th minute.
