Darlington Nagbe has gotten off to a bit of a rough start to his MLS career. After missing the Portland Timbers' first two games while recovering from hernia surgery, he took longer than expected to break into the starting lineup.  The No. 1 pick in the most recent SuperDraft entered Saturday's game against Sporting Kansas City with neither a goal nor an assist on his MLS resume. His absolute wondergoal on Saturday, though, may be just the thing he needs to get on a roll.

With the Timbers trailing 2-0 in the closing moments of the first half, Nagbe collected a ball near the outside of the penalty area, juggled the ball a couple times and then struck a perfectly placed volley inside the far upper corner. It's the kind of goal that shows just what kind of talent Nagbe possesses. It was creative, technical and, simply one of the most spectacular goals you'll see in MLS this season.
