The 2014 UEFA Champions League will conclude in Lisbon, Portugal, where Benfica will host the final at their Estadio da Luz. UEFA chose the 65,000 seat stadium at a meeting on Tuesday, awarding the European final to Lisbon for the first time since Celtic beat Inter Milan, 2-1, in the 1967 final.

Lisbon may not have hosted a European club final in 45 years, but it was the hub of Euro 2004 with two stadiums hosting matches. Estadio da Luz was rebuilt for that tournament and hosted the final, which was won by Greece.

This year's Champions League final will be hosted by Bayern Munich at their Allianz Arena, and next year's final will be return to London's Wembley Stadium, two years after hosting its last final.

UEFA also awarded Juventus' new 41,000 seat Juventus Stadium the 2014 Europa League final. Finally, the Czech Republic was chosen as the host of the 2015 UEFA U-21 Championships.
