That's what Joachim Loew was so cranky when Germany missed a slew of chances in the first half. The German lead is no more; Georgios Samaras has demolished it. Yes, you read that right. I'm prepared for a lot of things when I cover a game. Riots, blowouts, penalties, whatever. I wasn't prepared for Georgios Samaras to score. I wasn't even prepared for him to take a good touch. If you're a Samaras fan, my apologies, but whatever, I don't care because you have terrible taste in footballers.
Anyway, Dimitrios Salpingidis sprints beyond Philipp Lahm on the Greek right, runs onto the ball and sends in an excellent cross. Jerome Boateng can't cut it out, and Samaras is able to bundle it home despite Manuel Neuer's slight touch. It's now 1-1... what are the Germans going to do about that?
