VIDEO: Emerson Bites Matías Caruzzo's Hand In Copa Libertadores Final

Emerson scored twice for Corinthians on Wednesday night, giving the Brazilian club a 2-0 lead in the second leg of their Copa Libertadores final against Boca Juniors en route to their first-ever Copa Libertadores title. But he was still hungry for more late in the second half, when he bit the hand of Matías Caruzzo.

The video isn't particularly hard to watch, but, spoiler alert: It features one dude biting another dude's hand. So if that gives you the willies, feel free not to click play.

It's an ugly sight, but Emerson, who had chirped at Boca players throughout the game, definitely gets a couple of Caruzzo's fingers in his jaw and clenches, and there's very little doubt that this was an intentional act. Incredibly, though, he was not sent off for it; he was substituted out with haste, likely dodging a red card.

The incident will surely mar Corinthians' triumph and obscure Emerson's role in it; the forward had 14 goals in 54 appearances for the club this season, and helped Corinthians go undefeated in the tournament.
