MLS offseason 2013: LA, Seattle, Portland, Chivas and Toronto all have work left to do

MLS training camps are underway, which means teams need to wrap up their transfer dealings and all eyes are on LA, Seattle, Portland, Chivas and Toronto.

The 2013 MLS season is right around the corner, but some teams still have some work left to do as they piece together their squads for a run at MLS Cup.

The LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders have yet to fill gigantic holes left by David Beckham and Fredy Montero, respectively. Both teams have said they will spend whatever is necessary to fill the gap left by their departed stars, but who will they sign? The Galaxy have been linked to Frank Lampard and Kaka, both of whom are possibilities, while the Sounders are still on the lookout for someone to join Eddie Johnson in their attack.

The Portland Timbers have their own bit of work to do as they try to rebuild their squad under new manager Caleb Porter. Meanwhile, Chivas USA and Toronto FC have yet to make the massive improvements to their roster that are so necessary after last season's debacles.
