Manchester United have been well on top of Arsenal for the first 25 minutes, and their persistence has paid off with a goal off the corner. Robin van Persie was the scorer, tallying yet another against his former club. It came off a pretty header at the end of a run to the near post, with Wayne Rooney picking up the assist with a nice delivery.
While Arsenal's marking certainly leaves something to be desired here, there's nothing to take away from van Persie here. He might have finished off this chance if he had a defender stuck to him like glue. This was just an excellent run to get on the end of an equally impressive ball, followed up by an even better header.
Arsenal were having trouble breaking down United when the match was tied, so they could have serious trouble doing it now that United don't have as much incentive to attack.
