'Chepo' Jose Manuel de la Torre's obsession with washed-up old guys continues! Thanks to their recent form, Mexico outcasts Omar Bravo and Jonny Magallon have returned to the squad to face the United States and Honduras. Sinha has been left out, however, while Gerardo Torrado is an aging player that probably deserves to be in the squad. It's not apparent that Mexico has any better option than him at this point.
'Maza' Francisco Rodriguez is still in the team, even though he reacted to his side's draw against Jamaica by flipping off a television camera. I guess being the captain has its perks. Hector Moreno, Diego Reyes and Hugo Ayala (and the aging Magallon, for that matter) should probably all start over him, but he'll probably retain his place.
Pablo Barrera remains absent with an injury, and it's not clear how Chepo's going to deal with that. His squad didn't get the job done against Jamaica, so expect something different going forward from El Tri.
