Alessio Cerci and Mattia De Sciglio given debut call-ups for Italy

Both Torino's Alessio Cerci and Milan's Mattia De Sciglio have been included in an Italy squad for the first time, as they prepare to face Brazil and Malta.

Alessio Cerci has been on excellent form on the right wing for Torino so far this season, while AC Milan's young full-back Mattia De Sciglio has been one of the most exciting prospects in Italy. Both are included in Cesare Prandelli's Italy squad to face Brazil in a friendly on Thursday, before meeting Malta in a World Cup Qualifier on Tuesday.

Elsewhere there aren't too many surprises, though Sampdoria midfielder Andrea Poli has been called up having only one senior cap so far, and Genoa wing-back Luca Antonelli has been recalled, having not received an international cap since 2010.

Marco Verratti is out injured, meaning that his domestic teammate, Salvatore Sirigu, is the only player playing outside of Italy included. Roma pairing of Pablo Osvaldo and Daniele De Rossi are unavailable for the Malta match through suspension, though can play against Brazil. Here's the full squad:

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Morgan De Sanctis (Napoli), Federico Marchetti (Lazio), Salvatore Sirigu (Paris St Germain).
