Manchester United vs. Real Madrid, 2013 UEFA Champions League: Video preview

Cristiano Ronaldo makes his return to Old Trafford as Real Madrid take on Manchester United for a spot in the quarterfinals.

Manchester United got the job done in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie, earning a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu, but they still have work left to do when they host Real Madrid in the second leg on Tuesday. That's especially true after Madrid showed that they can go away in the second leg and win last week when they thumped Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semifinals.

But for all of the intrigue and pomp that comes with a tie between two of the world's biggest clubs, the focus is still on one man -- Cristiano Ronaldo. The Madrid star returns to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving the Red Devils, the club that helped him go from promising youngster to one of the world's best players and true superstardom.

Unfortunately for United, Phil Jones was ruled out for the match on Monday through injury so Sir Alex Ferguson does not have the player he would have likely used to mark Ronaldo.
