Manchester City vs. West Bromwich Albion: Preview and TV schedule

Manchester City and West Brom have little to play for in the league, but the Baggies will be hopeful of getting something against a City side that is likely to be rotated ahead of the FA Cup final.

Neither side has much to play for in this clash between Manchester City and West Bromwich Albion, and an impending cup final for the Citizens is likely to make this match an even more low-key affair, but the relaxed pressure could make for an interesting game.

Following on from their defeat at the hands of Wigan Athletic last week, West Brom will look to finish the season on a high after a fine year under Steve Clarke's direction, and with most of their side fully fit, as well as the key midfield duo of Claudio Yacob and Youssef Mulumbu, they will feel they have a decent chance of taking on a City side likely to be rotated ahead of the weekend.

Manchester City, meanwhile, won't want to go into their big game hungry for form, and even a rotated squad will still be favourites to dispatch the Baggies at the Etihad Stadium. Since Roberto Mancini began resting players in his last game, it will be interesting to see whether he looks to pick up momentum by starting the likes of Carlos Tevez, or instead fields alternatives in the likes of Edin Dzeko. Either way, this is a difficult match to predict.

Manchester City injuries and suspensions

In doubt: Scott Sinclair (shoulder), Maicon (illness), Yaya Toure (knock)

West Bromwich Albion injuries and suspensions

Out: Marc-Antoine Fortune (suspended), Zoltan Gera (knee). In doubt: Goran Popov (calf), Chris Brunt (knee)

Manchester City will only be without Scott Sinclair for certain, although Maicon and Yaya Toure are unlikely to be risked with the FA Cup Final against Wigan Athletic just days away.

West Brom will be without the suspended Fortune and long-term absentee Gera, although Goran Popov and Chris Brunt also only have slim chances of being ready.
