Canada vs. Martinique: It's going to be a barnburner

The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup gets underway with Canada vs. Martinique. That means it's a country with an interim head coach who didn't make the Hex against a country that's not even recognized as an official country by FIFA and therefor isn't even ranked.

Off-year Gold Cups are Barnburner Central, aren't they?

In their infinite wisdom, CONCACAF has decided that it is more important to know the players' first names than last names. In Russell Teibert's case, it makes sense because he's awesome.

CONCACAF didn't even bother to spell Martinique correctly. Can't you feel the excitement?
