Five teams moved on the group stages of the Champions League in Tuesday's playoff round action around Europe.
Arsenal secured their place and will be joined by Schalke 04, Austria Vienna, FC Basel, Steau Bucuresti. Here's a recap of the five matches.
Austria Vienna 2-3 (4-3) Dinamo Zagreb
Despite a spirited comeback from Zagreb, the first leg result and an early own-goal were too much for the Croatians to overcome.
Leading 2-0 after the first leg, Austria Vienna extended their lead to 3-0 on aggregate when Josip Simunic put he ball in the back of his own net in the 4th minute. Zagreb roared back to even the tie with goals from Marcelo Brozovic (34'), Junior Fernandes (44') and Fatos Beqiraj (71').
If they could have held the scoreline, they would have advanced on away goals but Vienna were saved by Roman Kienast just eight minutes from the full time whistle.
FC Basel 2-0 (6-2) Ludogorets Razgrad
Basel cruised in to the group stages with a 2-0 win over Ludogrets Razgrad, hammering the Bulgarian side 6-2 on aggregate. Over coming a two-goal deficit on the road was already a steep hill to climb for Ludogrets but as we all know, anything is possible. Basel knew it too and wasted little time extending their advantage thanks to Fabian Frei's goal in the 11th minute.
Philipp Degen's goal in the 79th minute was ultimately inconsequential but I doubt he'll be any less excited.
PAOK Salonika 3-4 (2-3) Schalke 04
Schalke claimed a spot in the group stages by the skin of their teeth as Adám Szalai scored his second goal of the match in stoppage time to give the Germans a 4-3 aggregate victory over PAOK.
Schalke went ahead in the 43rd minute thanks to Szalai's first goal but PAOK answered early in the second half when Stefanos Athanasiadis scored to pull them even. The team's traded goals midway through the second half with Julian Draxler scoring for Schalke in the 67th minute and Kostas Katsouranis again pulling the Greeks even in the 79th. Just before Draxler's goal, US international Jermaine Jones was shown a red card, leaving Schalke with 10-men for the final 26 minutes.
With PAOK needing a goal to avoid being knocked out by the away goals rule, Szalai ended the drama and ensured the German side would advance.
Legia Warsaw 2-2 (3-3) Steaua Bucuresti (Steaua advances on away goals)
After a tight draw in the first leg, Steaua Bucuresti scored twice early and held on to advance past Legia Warsaw thanks to away goals. Nicolae Stanciu put Steaua ahead in the 7th minute and two minutes later Federico Piovaccari extended the lead to 3-1 on aggregate.
Legia Warsaw pulled within a goal in the 27th minute thanks to Miroslav Radovic but Jakub Rzezniczak's 94th minute goal was too little, too late as Steaua booked their place in the group stages.
Arsenal 2-0 (5-0) Fenerbahce
The Gunners were comfortably ahead of Fenerbahce after the first leg in Turkey but a solid home performance and two goals from Aaron Ramsey ensured Arsenal's spot in the group stages.
The Turkish side never particularly looked like they were going to get back into the tie but Ramsey's first goal in the 25th minute essentially finished them off. His second in 72nd minute was just icing on the celebratory cake.
