Despite the fact there are still stories being written about the weekend's eventful Clásico, La Liga motors on with a full round of mid-week games from Tuesday to Thursday.
League leaders Atlético Madrid are back on top and once gain control their destiny simply needing to match or better Real Madrid and Barcelona's results over the final nine rounds to claim the title. Easier said than done of course, especially with a trip to the Camp Nou on the season's final day. For now, they can focus on Granada and contenting to get full points.
Real Madrid face the toughest match, at least on paper, of the three title contenders as they travel to face fifth-place Sevilla.
Athletic Bilbao can take another step towards claiming fourth place and a Champions League spot as they face Elche. Athletic have taken advantage of a strong home record and plenty of stumbles by the teams chasing them to open up an eight point lead over Sevilla. Real Sociedad and Villarreal, both of whom has been pushing Athletic for the past couple months, have fallen off the pace.
Real Betis cannot afford any more losses and must start winning now as they face Levante. Getafe face Villarreal suddenly finding themselves in the drop zone after the weekend's results. Of course, when you haven't won since November 29th of last year, you have only yourself to blame.
