France demolished Norway 4-0 on Tuesday after a seriously impressive performance. Following a shaky qualifying campaign, Didier Deschamps appears to have finally found the magic French formula, and they'll head to Brazil as genuine trophy contenders. However, first they continue their preparations with a friendly against Paraguay in Nice on Sunday, and Deschamps may opt to alter the personnel from last week's emphatic victory.
Sunday Friendlies
Even so, it's a game Les Bleus really ought to win. They they've now won their last three on the bounce, scoring nine and not conceding once. Paraguay, meanwhile, are still trying to overcome a horrible World Cup qualification campaign, in which they finished bottom of the CONMEBOL group. Their coach Víctor Genes appears to be using this game for experimental purposes only, with only three players in his squad having picked up more than 12 caps.
