Germany 2, Ghana 2: Thriller ends in draw

Germany boss Joachim Löw was understandably happy with his side's thrashing of Portugal in their World Cup opener, and has rewarded his players with an unchanged starting lineup for their second game against Ghana.

Meanwhile, Ghana's Black Stars opened their campaign with a defeat to the United States, and despite dominating for most of the game, their coach James Kwesi Appiah has made three changes to his starting team.

Fatau Dauda is in for goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey, Harrison Afful replaces the injured Daniel Opare at right-back, and Kevin-Prince Boateng displaces Jordan Ayew. That means Boateng will go up against his brother Jerome, who starts in defense for Die Mannschaft.

Germany starting lineup (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Benedikt Höwedes, Mats Hummels, Per Mertesacker, Jerome Boateng; Sami Khedira, Philipp Lahm, Toni Kroos; Mario Götze, Mesut Özil, Thomas Müller.

Ghana starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Fatau Dauda; Kwadwo Asamoah, John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful; Mohammed Rabiu, Sulley Muntari; Andre Ayew, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Christian Atsu; Asamoah Gyan.
