Argentina vs. Switzerland, 2014 World Cup: Time, TV schedule

Switzerland got out of their group as expected, and now they face their real challenge: Argentina, one of the big favorites to win the World Cup.

Switzerland survived the group stage of the World Cup by sneaking past Ecuador, but they're facing a serious step-up in competition on Tuesday. And on the evidence of their struggles against France, they're going to have a very tough time with Argentina.

Lionel Messi has been the big story of the tournament for the Albiceleste, and for good reasons. He's been criticized for not playing as well for his country as he does for his club in the past, but he's been at his best in this World Cup, and is looking like a Golden Ball favorite at the moment.

The big news for Argentina is the absence of Sergio Aguero, who is out for the remainder of the tournament. He was a key figure for them in qualifying, but he hasn't fit the best with Argentina's other pieces so far in the World Cup and Ezequiel Lavezzi might end up giving their team more balance. Switzerland are missing Steve von Bergen, and seem likely to replace him with Philippe Senderos. On the evidence of Senderos' performances in Europe last season, that's quite a drop-off.
