Update: Argentina beat Switzerland in extra time

The final day of World Cup round of 16 action starts with a match between Argentina and Switzerland (12 p.m. ET, ESPN), with both sides yet to really find their best form. On paper, it's a game Argentina -- armed with a lethal attack and arguably the best player in the world in Lionel Messi -- should win comfortably, though they scraped all three of their wins in a pretty weak group by one-goal margins.

Alejandro Sabella has seemingly struggled to get his collection of outstanding individuals to function as a cohesive unit, too often relying on moments of individual brilliance from Messi to get themselves out of sticky situations. Switzerland could certainly take advantage if they're on form, thanks to the attacking firepower offered up by the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Josip Drmić. However, against a fierce attack, it's their defence that is the cause for concern.

They're likely to sit back and invite pressure from Argentina, in the hope they'll be able to take advantage of any space in behind on the counter-attack. But if they continue to defend poorly, it's a pressure they're not going to be able to withstand. If they're to have any chance of winning the game, their centre-backs and deep midfield duo will have to be on top form.

If you live in the USA and want to catch the game online in English, head over to Watch ESPN, assuming you get access through your internet or TV provider. They'll also have a tactical camera and Portuguese audio. Don't get access to Watch ESPN, or prefer to watch El Tri in Spanish? Univision En Vivo is where you should go.

You can find the match on the BBC iPlayer in the UK, while it'll be on CBC Sports streaming in Canada. There are listings available for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
