Real Madrid fired Carlo Ancelotti on Monday, but they couldn't name his replacement. That's because it's going to be Rafa Benitez, who still has one game left to coach with Napoli. Florentino Perez waited until the end of the Rome Derby to make his announcement because he could have named the new coach if Lazio won, but Roma's victory meant Napoli still technically have something to play for.
AC Milan president Silviu Berlusconi has openly admitted he wants to hire Ancelotti and that he's optimistic about Ancelotti taking the job, even though Ancelotti reportedly needs back surgery and planned to take a year off from coaching.
