Chelsea are off to an awful start in the Premier League, but they've been handed a bit of a gift in scheduling. They should be able to get their year back on track with a win on Wednesday, as they host Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League.
The Blues have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this season, with 12 goals allowed through five games. They lost their last match, away to Everton, 3-1. Maccabi are just three games into the Israeli Premier League season, and they have seven points from their matches.
Chelsea are missing Thibaut Courtois and Radamel Falcao due to injury, but they're unlikely to be the only star players missing from the lineup. Between the relative lack of strength of their opposition and their poor start to the season, Chelsea are likely to rotate heavily. Maccabi Tel Aviv will be without Eliazer Dasa, who is suspended.
Match Date/Time: Wednesday, 2:45 p.m. ET, 7:45 p.m. local
Venue: Stamford Bridge, London, England
TV: Fox Sports regional networks (U.S.), TSN4 (Canada), BT Sport 2 (U.K.)
Online: This is, unfortunately, the least accessible game of the day in the United States. Because it's on regional networks, you can only watch for free on Fox Sports Go if you live in one of the areas where an affiliate is carrying the game. Despite that, this is not one of the games that was sublicensed to ESPN, so it's not on ESPN3 either. The only way for people who live anywhere or have any TV package to watch is on Fox Soccer 2 Go, a paid service.
UK: BT Sport
Canada: TSN
