Bayern Munich vs. Köln 2016 live stream: Game time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Köln has been this season's surprise in the Bundesliga, but Bayern should be able to see off their challenge.

Bayern Munich are carving a path of domination through the Bundesliga again, and that doesn't look like it's changing any time soon. Their opponent on Sunday, though, has been something of an eye-opening surprise, with Köln taking 11 points in their first five matches, showing impressive attacking style and defensive tenacity early in the season.

Köln are a much sharper and hungrier side than they looked like a year ago, and it's propelled them to standing in third place in the table early on in the current Bundesliga campaign. It's not clear yet if they'll manage to maintain a challenge for Champions League places yet, but what is clear is that they've definitely earned their way to where they are right now. Their results haven't been flukes -- no one has beaten Köln because they've put in tremendous effort to make it as hard to be stopped as possible.

But Bayern aren't any other Bundesliga team. They're an almost unstoppable juggernaut -- and it's only "almost" because of a loss on the road in the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid. While they suddenly look a little vulnerable, Bayern will also be mad and eager to bounce back strong with a win -- putting Köln in a position that few opponents would want to be in. Even with how good and solid Köln have been, facing a mad and motivated Bayern is a monstrously difficult task, and not one they're likely to get through in one piece.
