Arsenal's win over Ludogorets in midweek ensured that they've now won all but one of their last 10 games, a record sufficiently strong to see the Gunners sitting joint-top of the Premier League table with Manchester City. Arsène Wenger's men are unlikely to see that record halted at the Emirates Stadium this weekend, as they play host to Premier League strugglers Middlesbrough.
After making a promising start to life back in the top flight, the newly promoted Boro have struggled in recent weeks, picking up only two points from their last six league games. Only tiebreakers keep Aitor Karanka's side out of the relegation zone, and it's not at all difficult to envisage them sliding into the bottom three once the weekend's out. Boro certainly have an unenviable task.
Though Middlesbrough's last Premier League trip to the Emirates came in 2009, they last visited Arsenal in the FA Cup a couple of seasons ago. It proved a rather forgettable afternoon for the travelling supporters, who saw their side go down 2-0 courtesy of an Olivier Giroud brace. They could well suffer a similar fate again on Saturday.
