Liverpool's run of four straight Premier League wins came to an end on Monday, when they were held to a goalless draw by old rivals Manchester United. However, Jürgen Klopp's side are still in an excellent position at this early stage of the season, and head into Saturday's encounter with West Bromwich Albion just a couple of points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.

They'll certainly fancy their chances of moving ever closer to the league lead, with West Brom one of the league's more inconsistent sides. Though the Baggies should have more than enough to avoid relegation this season, it's unlikely they'll achieve any more than that. They've won just one of their four games on the road this season, and could struggle in their visit to Merseyside without the suspended Jonny Evans.

That said, the Baggies have become something of a bogey team for Liverpool in recent years, with four of their last five meetings having ended in draws. It remains to be seen whether they'll have the defensive discipline to extend that record further on Saturday.
