Tottenham Hotspur are on a red-hot run in the league, having just battled a talented Fiorentina side to a standstill in Italy in the Europa League this past week. With so much momentum on their side, it seems like there's not much that can stop them right now -- but that won't keep Crystal Palace from trying.
Alan Pardew's side has been a rather confusing one this season, with a number of wildly impressive performances overshadowed by too many games where they came out absolutely flat and got hammered by teams that they had no business looking so poor against. But when they're at their best, Palace are an intimidating side who can beat anyone else in the league -- it's just a matter of which version of their team shows up in this London Derby matchup.
Key player -- Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspur)
While Son has enjoyed only minimal success for Spurs in the league since joining last summer, he's been far more effective for them in cup competitions. This match will be a chance to show off the dominant side he's only flashed this season, and if he can step up to the challenge, then Spurs fans will be in for a real treat.
Key matchup -- Erik Lamela (Tottenham Hotspur) vs. Pape Souare (Crystal Palace)
Lamela has been a quietly effective force for Tottenham this season, serving as a wide playmaker on his right wing and as a frequent goalscoring threat. If Palace let him run rampant, the game will be over before it begins -- but if Souare can keep him in check, they've got a much better chance of pulling the result they're hoping for out of this game.
