USA vs. Colombia 2016 live stream: How to watch U-23 MNT's Olympic qualifier online

The Americans will have to get to the Olympics the hard way.

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The United States men's national team failed to qualify for the Olympics directly from CONCACAF, and will have to beat Colombia in a two-legged playoff to make the tournament. That playoff starts on Friday in Barranquilla.

Jordan Morris is the biggest named called into this Under-23 team, but he's not the only American with senior caps to make the roster. Kellyn Acosta, Matt Miazga, Julian Green, Wil Trapp and Jerome Kiesewetter are also a part of this strong squad.

Because they're playing in tough World Cup qualifiers during this break, some of Colombia's best Olympic-eligible players are with their senior squad, not this one. Their players that will be most recognizable to Americans are Juan Fernando Quintero, who plays at Rennes on loan from Porto, and Andres Renteria, who stars for Santos Laguna in Liga MX.

How to watch online: If you're in the United States, you have two options for watching the game through Fox. If you're a TV subscriber to Fox Sports 1, you can catch the game for free on Fox Sports Go. If that doesn't work for you, there's also Fox Soccer 2 Go, a paid service that doesn't require a TV subscription.

Match Date/Time: Fri., 5 p.m. ET, 3 p.m. local

Venue: Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez, Barranquilla, Colombia

TV: Fox Sports 1 (U.S. - English), Univision Deportes (U.S. - Spanish)

Listings via LiveSoccerTV.
