Sometimes in football, there are goals that deserve to win games. Poland's Jakub Błaszczykowski provided a perfect example when he netted what proved to be the only goal of his side's victory over Ukraine on the final Group C matchday. After some intricate passing by his teammates, the winger rolled the ball across onto his left side before lashing it into the top corner from close range. It was a superb finish from the Fiorentina man.

The win ensures Poland maintain their impressive record at these European Championships, having picked up two wins and a draw from their first three matches. Only tiebreakers saw Germany finish above them. With Błaszczykowski sitting alongside Robert Lewandowski and Arkadiusz Milik as a fearsome attacker, they're certainly not a team anyone will be keen to draw in the next round. Few have spoken of them as dark horses, but they may well start now.
