A couple of new chapters have been written in the Paul Pogba transfer saga. According to all of Italy's major sports newspapers today, the Frenchman has decided to leave Juventus and submitted a transfer request. One example comes courtesy of the Gazzetta dello Sport -- widely regarded as the most reliable of Italy's dailies -- which leads with the headline: "Pogba has decided: 'Dear Juve let me go'":

However, these stories are breaking with a concomitant story that the Italian giants have rejected a massive offer from Manchester United for their star midfielder. According to Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christenson in the Guardian, the Bianconeri turned down a deal "worth a total of £100m with £13m of that in performance-related add-ons." However, it seems unlikely negotiations will stop there, especially with the player having reportedly agreed personal terms with United.
