Saturday marks the return of British football's fiercest rivalry, as Celtic host Rangers in the Old Firm Derby. This edition has even more meaning than most: it will be the first league meeting between the Glaswegian rivals in over four years. In the intervening period Rangers went bust, reformed and fought their way from the fourth tier back to the Scottish Premiership.

Mark Warburton's side may have only just returned to the top flight, but so far they've adapted excellently. Heading into this match Rangers sit second only to Celtic, though Brendan Rodgers' side have both a point and a game in hand on the Gers. Celtic remain the favorites for both this match and the Premiership title, though Rangers will be doing all they can to once again establish themselves as contenders.

These sides last met in April, when Rangers won a tense penalty shootout in the semifinal of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park. If that match was anything to go by, we're likely to see a tight and nervy contest at Parkhead on Saturday. Celtic will be hoping to have striker Leigh Griffiths back from injury in time to play, as well as young defender Kieran Tierney. For their part, Rangers look set to have a full-strength team available.
