West Ham vs. Southampton 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The start of the season has been decidedly short of expectations for both West Ham United and Southampton, and as the two teams meet in London Stadium on Sunday both will be hoping to find a way to get things moving in the right direction at last.

West Ham find themselves in the relegation zone five matches into their campaign, with just one win to their credit. Slaven Bilic turned the Hammers into a team to be feared a season ago, but this year they're crumbling under the weight of expectation. Injuries aren't helping, to be sure, but they've had the look of a team struggling to play up to a certain image and ambition, while failing to quite grab onto the level of quality that they need to get there.

Southampton have experienced similar woes, with massive summer changes catching up to them in a hurry. They went from an upper-midtable team to one just scraping above the relegation zone quickly, and while their record is better than West Ham's, their quality on the pitch isn't any better.

This match is very much an opportunity for one of these teams to get some kind of positive momentum going in their favor again. It won't be an easy match for either of them, but a strong performance could help get West Ham or Southampton back on the right footing for the first time all season long.
