Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from their opening Champions League defeat when they take on CSKA Moscow in Russia on Tuesday. Mauricio Pochettino's side went down 2-1 to Monaco on the first matchday, and will be hoping to recover by taking three points from the reigning Russian champions.
However, that could be easier said than done. CSKA Moscow put in a good performance as they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen in their opening Champions League match, and they're sure to be confident as a result. Their domestic form has been rather patchy, but coach Leonid Slutsky is sure to be hoping his side raise their game on the biggest of stages.
What's more, CSKA's only injury doubt is veteran midfielder Aleksandrs Cauņa; they should otherwise have a full-strength team available. Spurs, in contrast, will be without five familiar faces: Injury has forced Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko, and Mousa Dembélé to remain in London.
