France were hoping to be riding a high of momentum right now as defending Euro 2016 champions -- but that dream was crushed when they lost the final to Portugal in Paris. Now they're hoping to bounce back strong in UEFA World Cup qualification, and they'll be looking to start things off with a win against Belarus.

This is a very strong France side, one that just easily beat Italy a few days ago. Belarus is a team that's no pushover, but even at their toughest they can't match the talents of Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante, Blaise Matuidi, Antoine Griezmann and the rest of the athletic and technically gifted French squad. This match has the potential to serve as a real statement of intent for France -- they want to be the big, powerful bullies of their qualifying group, and pounding on Belarus in Borisov will be an ideal way to set that tone.

To watch this match online in the U.S. you can stream it on the Fox Soccer 2GO subscription service, or depending on your internet provider you can watch free on Fox Sports Go. The match won't be shown online in France or Belarus, but for options in other countries you can check out LiveSoccerTV.
