The World Cup opening ceremony kicked off at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow with Robbie Williams taking the opportunity to flip off billions of people at once.

Everything was so happy in Williams’ performance that some people might be confused as to why he flipped off the world, but I get it. It’s a chance to be a part of history. This is your only chance to ever flip off a large chunk of the globe all at once. And what else are people going to remember about a World Cup opening ceremony? A harp solo?
The only thing better than the suits at the #WorldCupRussia2018 opening ceremony is this dope solo on what I think may be a harp or the side paneling of a '95 Tacoma bed cover pic.twitter.com/AahJh4rquu

But Williams’ middle finger and a harp weren’t the only things the opening ceremony had to offer. There was also a Pokemon!

And Ronaldo! It’s been a long time since we saw Ronaldo!
Thanks to all the great memories you have offered me, whenever I hear the word World Cup, I automatically think about Ronaldo
