Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Petra Kvitova were all victorious in second-round action at Wimbledon on Thursday. Federer and Murray are the second and third seed for the men, respectively, and Kvitova is the No. 2 seed for the women. With both Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams advancing on Wednesday, the top seeds are all intact heading into the third round.

One player who won't be there is No. 10 seed Rafael Nadal. He fell to Dustin Brown in his second-round matchup. Brown kept up with Nadal's frenetic pace to win, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. We've got a full recap of that match here.

Federer made short work of American Sam Querrey, taking him down in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2. Murray, in one of the day's opening matchups, dispatched Robin Haase in even quicker fashion, 6-1, 6-1, 6-4. Kvitova played on No. 1 Court following Murray's match and cruised to victory against Kurumi Nara, 6-2, 6-0.

A couple of seeded men exited in the second round, with No. 15 Feliciano Lopez falling to Nikoloz Basilahvili, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 2-6,  6-4 and No. 30 Fabio Fognini falling to Vasek Pospisil, 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3. For the women, No. 8 seed Ekaterina Makarova fell to Magdalena Rybarikova, 6-2, 7-5.

Other high-seeded players who managed to win their matches include women's No. 5 seed Caroline Wozniacki, who bested Denisa Allertova, 6-1, 7-6(6) and women's No. 10 seed Angelique Kerber, who took down Anastasia Pavlyuchenjova, 7-5, 6-2. Men's No. 6 seed Tomas Berdych was also victorious.
