Roger Federer and Andy Murray will both be in action at Wimbledon on Saturday, and they'll be the biggest names on the day by far. They shared that honor with Rafael Nadal in the second round, but Nadal was upset at the hands of his unseeded second-round opponent Dustin Brown on Thursday. It's safe to assume that Federer and Murray were more than happy to see him go.
Nadal is always dangerous, regardless of his recent struggles. Now Federer and Murray can proceed through Saturday's matches knowing Nadal is not on the horizon. Federer is set to face Sam Groth, while Murray will take on No. 25 seed Andreas Seppi.
Both of those matches are on Centre Court, split by a match between women's No. 2 seed Petra Kvitova and No. 28 seed Jelena Jankovic. Kvitova usually struggles the most early on in tournaments and she's been dominant throughout thus far, so things are looking up for her. She almost got a huge break on Friday as Heather Watson nearly eliminated top seed Serena Williams, but Williams held on to prevent the upset.
Caroline Wozniacki, Tomas Berdych, Angelique Kerber and Gilles Simon are among the other top seeds in action on Saturday.
The day's matches get underway at 6:30 a.m. ET, with television coverage starting at 7 a.m. on ESPN. That coverage will run through 4:30 p.m., with a live stream available at WatchESPN. Below is a full schedule of the seeded matches. You can see a list of the rest here.
